We are always on the lookout for good family movies, that we can all enjoy! We enjoy some excitement and suspense, but they also need to be family-friendly. I was excited to hear about the upcoming movie, Secrets of the Mountain, which will air this Friday (April 16, 2010) on NBC at 8/7C.
Wal-Mart and P&G got together to create family-friendly TV programming, and this is the first offering from this partnership. It stars Barry Bostwick and Paige Turco, as well as a number of teens I confess I don't recognize.
The story focuses strongly on the strength of families, with some adventure and excitement around a hidden treasure and bad guys. When Nate watched the following trailer, he immediately said "Awwww, cool!! When can we watch the whole thing??"
In case you were wondering, we will be sitting down with some popcorn on Friday to watch this movie!
I hope your family does, too! But, even if you can't make it on Friday night, Wal-Mart will sell the DVD and the soundtrack starting April 17, 2010. My readers have a chance to WIN a copy of the movie & sountrack!

Ryan and Nick really enjoyed this movie. I'm glad there was a good family movie on free tv as we don't get cable.
