I haven't done a Friday's Feast in forever . . . so here goes!
Appetizer
Which language would you like to learn and why?
I'd like to learn Spanish because there are so many Spanish-speaking people in this area that I know it would be useful. I would like to be able to communicate better and not depend on hand signals and simple English.
Soup
What's the funniest thing you've heard or read so far this week?
Last Friday, at the beach, we were all resting on the beach blanket. N, my youngest, suddenly turned to DH and said "DAD! I hear some great jumping waves that we're missing! Get UP!" (He loves to jump the ocean waves.) It cracked me up, and still does when I think about it.
Salad
Which movie was so bad you couldn't watch the whole thing?
The first movie I remember walking out on was "Terms of Endearment" I was in high school, and my girlfriend and I walked out in the middle of it.
Main Course
If there were a holiday in your honor that didn't use your actual name, what would the day be called?
I have no idea!
Dessert
Name one movie which is coming out soon that you would like to see.

Young N. sounds like quite the character! LOL! I hope Dad got up! I'm trying to place Terms of Endearment... I don't think I saw it... but wasn't it quite popular? Not that that means a thing. Heck - I fell asleep AT THE THEATER while watching Indiana Jones!

ReplyDeleteIt seems Spanish is the language of choice!
ReplyDeleteI love what your child said. That was so cute. Although, you probably shared that story to make all of us who are freezing feel bad!!!!
Come and share my feast.
I had to read TWICE that you were at the BEACH! LOL
ReplyDeleteI forgot to do the Friday Feast today -- guess I'll put it up too.
I saw the Nativity story on Sunday with Rob and Rocky! Wonderful movie. Just wonderful! I explained before going into the theatre that there might be a scene depicting the slaughtering of the innocents to Rocky. I'd already explained what it was to him once before when he saw a picture of it in our Bible and had asked. It's sad, scary and hard to explain, but he handled it alright.
God bless.
Love your banner!! The beach is my favorite place! Great feast!
ReplyDeleteThe beach is my favorite place to be as well. Kids do say the funniest things! Happy Friday.
